Week #50

Hello everyone!

First off, VERY Important!! Happy Birthday to my sweet sister Jaylee!! And also to my awesome cousin Andrew Stewart! I hope that you both feel special on your day. Jaylee, did you get my package?

This week has been crazy. It seems like I say that in every email, and I probably do...but it's true!!! Pretty much every single lesson we had planned cancelled except for 4. Big bummer. But that's okay!! We did meet some AMAZING people that I am so excited to teach. One is named Monica. She is presently atheist, but after meeting a missionary returning from his mission, she referred to learn more. She wants to change that status and has TONS of quesitons. But that's great! I love it! She has three kids and they're adorable. She committed herself to go to church, and when I invited her to be baptized if she receives an answer she responded "Duh!"  and smoothly went into another question. I love it. :D

We also met this lady named Pricilla. Apparently she got baptized into inactivity as a child, and her daughter JulieAnn has been asking and asking to go to church! We will be teaching them this week. We also met this great family, they're hilarious! It's so fun to be surrounded by families and the extra joys it brings. The last time we went to visit, they forgot about hte appt and the boys were in the bathtub. JJ came to the door and the boys heard we were there and came up with wearing nothing but their birthday suits and some soap suds to match. When JJ pushed them away from the door he panicked and said uh, I gotta go, they're going to go to the window. Sure enough, we saw the familiar smiling faces in the window right next to the door. I couldn't stop laughing for a while, my comp was just laughing at me.

I don't have alot of time to write, but to update you, Eloy did live through his fight. The sad thing is is that he moved, and he may have taken a tour company to tour the world fighting for two years. He said it would be up to his parents. He's the main breadwinner and I think he's afraid to provide for his family any other way...and he's very good at what he does. Still undefeatedafter 3 years!

I love you all. I know that this church is true. I know that Jesus Christ is the head of this His church. I know that I am His servant to help His children come unto Him again.

Love Forever and Always,

Sister Lake
