Week #15

Aloha family!

This week has been aMAZING. I wish I could write about each investigator and
rejoice with you in their finding of their own happiness.

We contacted Richard again this week. We already sent misisonaries a while
ago and he has receive all lessons. He married a member but is devout
Catholic. He says he's still not sure. When we called the first time, we
rejoiced that we got ahold of them, but his wife said, "Acutally can you
call back later? We're in the middle of a tornado." Wow! Of course we said
yes and said a prayer right away fro their protection. Thankfullly they were
on the outskirts of the "good area" that did not get hit.

Annnnnnnnd....Laura! Remember her? She is the one that already wants to be
baptized and sealed, we just have to get her to stop smoking. (If ANYONE has
any tips on how to do that as a missionary, please let us know! We working
on it together and yes, we're using PMG.) well, we called her and we got
ahold of her and she was happy! She said that she foudn out that DAY that
she was pregnant! She thinks it's twins, and this is her 8th child/children.
We think it's a blessing because now she has added motivation to stop
smoking. Please keep her in her prayers.

Before I forget, John's wife is still in limbo, they have to meet with
another doctor. Please keep them in your prayers.

Jesse is amazing! He's the inbound call we had last week. He is so excited,
he's reading The Book of Mormon this weekend. He is sensitive to the spirit,
he says that whenever we talk to him he feels better. And I guess he can
differentiate between our voices because my "voice rings with power and LOTS
happiness." Goes to show how important what we learn in PMG is! (Not to say
Sister Daniilakis' voice is not, I guess I just have aLOt of enthusiasm.)

Something cool happened this week. We have been having problems with our
chats, the guests stop being able to read what we are writing. So I chatted
with a support agent and...I invited her to give us a referral! (Sisters
think I'm so funny, BUT chpt 9 says talk to everyone and in the back inside
cover it says ask everyone for referrals! ) She got a kick out of it too.
Apparentally Chantelle is also an RM who served in Long Beach Cali. She had
someone! Her best friend, that she has referred before. She already wants to
meet with missionaries! So keep us in your prayers there too mplease.

And I got an inbound call from Tep! He is now going to meet with
missionaries, he's from Thailand! His daughter is already a member and goes
to BYU.

And a miracle! Cody Cunningham gave me a referral, one of his coworkers and
his wife. They are wonderful! They are both going to church this sunday and
Jenn (wife) said that after she and Tony go to church this sunday they will
make a family decision about whether or not they will pursue learning more
by meeting with missionaries. Oh, we are praying so hard for them!

Farina is good. She was sick and missed our appointment but texted us
telling us why and that we were wonderful and that she "loved us sweeties"
We love her too! We're so happy!

Brian is AWESOME. He is so ready. (golden chat) He got tearful on the phone
in one of our lessons and thanked us profusely. Things have been going bad
the past two years with his company, but since he has started investigating
church he has seen miracles which he rightly attributes to his involvement.
He said he will get baptized. His local missionaries have not asked him abou
tit yet (gr!! How to begin Teaching! PMG!) but he committed to tell them
himself. He said that he owes us, the church and the local missionaries
everything, that the past few years he has been in darkness and he doesn't
knwo where he would be now without the church.

On that note, we had 140 New Investigators and 130 Progressing Investigators
as a mission this past week. The work must go forward! It is a great work
and I feel so priviledged to be a part of it in SUCH a special place.

I know that this church is true. I know it with every fiber of my being. And
I get to testify of that literally  to all the world. I know that Christ and
Heavenly Father love us and I feel so honored that they trust me with what
they have given me, both presently and in the past. Thank you all for what
you do.

Love Always and forever

Sister Eden Marie

*I wish I could have included all of the miracles that happened this week
because of passalong cards they work! Please use them by the spirit, no
matter how old you are, you can be a missionary.

******I would love if I could get the addresses for Michael Lyman (last
name? I used to babysit him) and Aubrey Helton? I'd love to write them.
