So I don't have a ton of time to write. But I can relate some good news.
Caroline
got baptized!! Oh, what a beautiful day January 26th will always be!!
She asked me to speak at her baptism, which was a real treat. And the
other speaker was Anabelle Robinson, the RM from TS that trained Sister
Tizhaninia. (urg, I never can spell her name right.) We also sang Joseph
Smith's first prayer, and that was pretty precious.
Abby is not going to get baptized this week, her family
has had a change of heart and wants to be there to support her! I'm
happy for her but scared because things always get sketchy when you give
Satan more time to work. She's stayin' strong though and will be
baptized lookin at Feb 23. I'll be gone, and I don't think she's
realized that yet, but Sister Caldwell has been sworn to send pictures.
:)
We're still waiting for three of our other baptisms.
Dravyn and Brenden are in a family coming out of inactivity, and we're
just waiting to find out how long before the Dad can baptize them. We
should find out today or tomorrow hopefully.
For Weston, we're just waitingin on his Dad's
permission. He's saying he has to wait till his 10th bday, but he's just
hoping he'll forget about it. We're going to see if we can meet with
him to talk aobut it. Weston is so solid and CUTE. He was out playing
with his friend ("Brayden", I todl him I had a very good friend with
that name too.) when we came by and he brought him in with us and was
talking him through saying the prayer and such. He's such a little
missionary!
For Sister Graham, she wanted to pray about Feb 9. She
suggested that she wanted to pick her own date because she's funny about
it. She has so much faith, I love her dearly.
Miracle
that happened yesterday. We were looking for a potential that we'd
found the day before and since we couldn't find it, we just started
tracting to get him. First door=inactive family, along with inactive
member. The spirit was strong and the timing was inspired. We all agreed
on that. We had some laughs, and I think the spirit gently rebuked them
a bit. Heavenly Father knows us all perfectly, He wants us to be
HAPPY!!!!
Love, Sister Lake
